Lyle the crocodile is a wacky movie based on a true story. It stars
Javier Bardem and Shawn Mendes as reptiles who live on a street in New York
City. Hector, the singer in the film, has put his home up for sale as
collateral for the show. Unfortunately, when the show doesn't go as well as
he'd hoped, he loses it and has to hit the road to earn some money. While on
the road, he meets up with the Primm family, and he makes friends with them.
Eventually, he finds out that the neighbors have been taking Lyle away from
them and they band together to bring him back.
Despite its title, "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile" is a fun, albeit
slightly silly, family movie. While it has some scary elements, there are
plenty of hilarious moments. The croc is adorable and has an adorable voice
that will entertain children of all ages.
