The Wedding Season is one of those movies
that's hard to judge. It's light-hearted, has good actors, and is well-written.
However, it does falter in its second half. While it's a predictable rom-com,
it does have a few moving moments.
The plot of the movie revolves around
Asha's relationship with Ravi, a second-generation Indian-American. She
pretends to be engaged to his cousin Ravi during the wedding season, when her
sister Priya is getting married to a white man named Nick. Asha has to make her
parents happy, but she also has to find a way to honor her family.
The Wedding Season is directed by Tom
Dey, and is a romantic comedy that is well worth watching. It has a great cast
and has beautiful moments between the two leads. The story follows two single
women, Asha (Pallavi Sharda) and Ravi (Suraj Sharma). They pretend to date on a
matrimonial website, but end up in a relationship when they fall in love. While
this may sound cliched, it's a nice storyline for romantic comedies.
Despite its flaws, "The Wedding
Season" is still a pleasant movie to watch if you're in the mood for some
good laughs. The lead actors, Pallavi Sharda and Suraj Sharma, are both good in
the lead roles. The script has some of the best dialogue in a rom-com, and the
actors do a good job of walking the line between being funny and hot.
The film has many moments of pure
comedy, especially during the second act. The first act sets up a shocking
twist when Stefan poisons Katie's new husband. The other characters quickly
point out Stefan's faults, but Drea does it gradually. The movie's second half
is filled with twists, turns, and a couple of deaths.
While this film focuses on a young
couple, it explores a number of genres and themes in the process. There are
interracial couples, gay lovers, a doomed romance, and an influencer character.
The Wedding Season is a very enjoyable summer movie that will make you laugh
out loud. This is a must-see! But beware, it does have a few issues. If you're
not a fan of romantic comedies, The Wedding Season is not for you.
Asha and Ravi are two different people
with different lives. Both are career driven, but they find themselves falling
for each other in the middle of the wedding season. While they pretend to date,
they actually have a lot in common. Asha's sister, Priya, is getting married to
a brain surgeon. The story follows the two women's journey to the wedding
season. It's a romantic comedy about finding true love.
While a few elements seem a little over
the top, the overall plot is very well written. The production team manages to
capture the feel of an expensive but well-planned event. Unlike some classic
movies, The Wedding Season focuses more on the characters than the plot.
